Early Years Programme

We all know the importance of getting children active and starting them young is crucial. Not only is it vital in developing their physical development, physical literacy and gross motor skills but basic throwing, catching, jumping and running skills make them more confident, happier kids. Skills like agility, balance and co-ordination are not only a vital part of a healthy upbringing, but form the basis of capabilities that stay with you for a lifetime. Physical activity throughout childhood also has substantial social benefits, improves quality of life and reduces the risk of a wide range of chronic conditions. It is a fact that generally active children become active adults.

Nutrition and Health Days

Complete Kidz can offer you a health day as a full or half day. We bring the whole school together by engaging with parents. We are able to bring many partners together to provide a market place for parents to recieve advice and pampering. Some of the activities offered include:

  • learn about the "eat well plate"
  • what your food actually contains
  • the scary truth of how much sugar is in your food
  • how to achieve a balanced diet

Breakfast and After School Clubs

Breakfast and After School Clubs

Parents need to know their children are being properly taken care of while they are at work. With over 40 activities to choose from, our breakfast and after school clubs provide parents with the confidence that their children are being cared for, having fun and learning sports at the same time.

Lunchtime Playleaders

Complete Kidz Playleaders give your school the chance to have someone that will take care of sports during lunchtime. Coaches will organise the sport, take care of incidents and get children involved and active throughout lunchtime. This is an important club for schools, as it improves inclusion as well as giving everyone a chance to take part, improving behaviour during and after lunchtime.

Disability/Special Needs

Disability/Special Needs image

At Complete Kidz we follow the DfES Code of Practice on the Identification and Assessment of Special Educational Needs and provide appropriate welcome and learning opportunities for all children. We aim to give everyone, including those with Special Educational Needs, the same choices and opportunities:

  • children with special needs, like all other children, are admitted after consultation between parents and staff
  • our system of observation and record keeping, which operates in conjunction with parents, enables us to monitor children’s needs and progress on an individual basis
  • if it is felt that a child’s needs cannot be met without the support of a one-to-one worker, funding will be sought to employ one
  • we work in liaison with external staff, including therapists, health visitors, psychologists, social workers, pediatricians and portage workers to meet children’s’ specific needs

Our staff attend in-service training on special needs arranged by professional bodies.

Balance Bikes

Balance Bikes are a simple type of bike designed to teach children how to balance and steer. The main difference between balance bikes and regular children's pedal bikes are balance bikes have no pedals, children propel themselves along by pushing the ground with their feet. Balance Bikes are a great introduction to riding a bike and helps improve an individual's agility, balance and co-ordination.

Fun & Fit Programme

Fun & Fit Programm

Fun & Fit sessions fit into many activity areas, these include dance, physical literacy and numeracy, gymnastics and games. Agility, balance and co-ordination are all developed in the FUNdamental element of the circuits and FITness is developed using the mini gym equipment. Children are also taught about a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Rewards Programme

Fun & Fit Programm

Following on from our first successful Glo Disco, we are now launching Glo Sports as a rewards programme activity for schools in Sandwell.

Pupils can come along to our funky Glo warehouse setting and party while they take part in a wide range of sports.

While there is still an element of competition, playing sport becomes even more fun, engaging and social.
